Your biggest difficulty when trying to get more confidence

I was wondering what everyone's biggest obstacles are when they are trying to get more self-reliance or act confident.
What keeps you from being confident and what is stopping you from acting confident or trying to improve your assurance level?

Well before, one of my main challenges when it comes to acting confident in myself is when I was scared of meeting new faces and making new friends.

I knew it went in the way of being successful since success involves a lot of networking. So I read lot of books especially in areas of self improvement and confidence. Over time, I began to regain a newfound self confidence I never had before. It's all about attitude and wanting to improve yourself. It starts within you.

my biggest difficulty when i am trying to get more confidence is fear and laziness .it stops me to doing things which i have to do get my confidence and reach my goal. so fear and laziness are the biggest difficulty when i try to get confidence

I'd say that the biggest problem with confidence is that it's so often misunderstood.

Most people think that confidence is a 'green light' that you need to get things done.

It's been my experience that confidence is just a tool in your arsenal to get the job done.

You don't need it, although it's nice to have.

My point? Whether or not you have confidence on your side, still do what you need to do and surprisingly, you'll start building up confidence as you continue building up momentum.

Self confidence has many interpretations when it comes to non English speaking people. For me the biggest obstacle was confusion across multiple choices. Quantum touch changed me and kriya yoga made me a self created ecstatic person now.
