SMV TERMS & CONDITIONS
When you join SMV, it is expected that you agree to abide by these Rules:
1) Keep it positive!
2) READ the SMV FAQs before asking any questions or posting!
3) Post ONLY material related to the Luxury, Lavish Lifestyle, VIP, and Self-Improvement material (Business, Character & Success). Look at our site & forum categories, if you don't find the appropriate category for your post => place it in OTHER. Please note, that posts should conform broadly to the site & forum categories. Anything that doesn't meet the criteria will be deleted without intimation to the poster. The decision of the Moderators will be final, so no arguments.
4) The official language of SMV Forum is English, though it is allowed to add books/audio etc in other languages as well (but description has to be posted in English, and the post title has to clearly indicate the language of the uploaded material).
5) Wrap your download links in code tags using "Code" button while posting.
NOTE: Non-download links to other sites should be left un-URLed and un-CODED.
URL links are allowed ONLY within www.selfmadevip.com.
6) Only working links are posted, but it is not possible to verify the contents or the quality of the material contained in those links.
7) NO PORN!!! We have a zero tolerance policy in this regard and anybody violating this Rule faces a ban. Any such content, including names or avatars which offend sensibilities or are pornographic, are not allowed.
8) No swearing, no four letter words allowed. Please maintain decorum. Offending posts will be deleted.
9) Advertising of products, sites and businesses are not allowed, except with the approval of the SMV Team. Any queries in this regard can be addressed to Viktorados. Posts containing advertisement for services or businesses in contravention of this Rule will be deleted and for repeat offence, the member will be banned.
10) If you like our forum and the information you have found here, you are welcome to contribute to our growth and also to spread the word around. You can add your material, discuss the posted information and share you ideas with our members. We welcome ideas on how the time that you spend here can be made more comfortable -> please PM the Moderators and Admin your suggestions on how this forum can be made better !
11) The content is free and there is no fee being charged from any member. However, any member wishing to sponsor the site can PM Viktorados or use our "Donate" button.

How to report non-functioning links

How to report non-functioning links
Greetings all. As you know, we at SMV try to keep the board as clean and updated as possible. However, it is not possible to check all the links every day. We would appreciate your help in locating such links. All you have to do when you come across a dead link is to click on the "Report" button. You can then fill in the required details and send the report.
We will then try to replace it with a working link, wherever possible. Of course, if you can post alternate links, it would be great!
Reported topics are shaded pink, so if you come across such a topic please do not try to use those links.
We now have the SMV BOT which checks links periodically and reports dead links, while moving the topic to "Reupload Needed" sub-forum. If you find the topic you are searching for has been moved to this sub-forum, then do not bother to try the links.
However, we would appreciate if you continue to report expired links.
Incidentally, you can also use the report button to:
1. Report "off topic" posts;
2. Report on posts advertising some other product or site;
3. Duplicate posts and
4. Live links other than those of SMV.

Rapidshare Download Limitation Policy and solution to it
Rapidshare announced:
"For Collector's and Premium Accounts there is no limitation. Files uploaded by free users can be downloaded 10 times, but can be easily transferred to a free Collector's or a Premium Account."
Thus, please transfer/upload your files to your free collectors account not to limit users to 10 downloads a day + get an opportunity for them to gain rapid points and convert to premium.
After you get enough points please keep these files on your free collector's account, and create a premium account. Do not transfer your files to the premium account, because they will be deleted after the premium account expires, and you won't be able to make any premium points after.
SUMMARY:
Upload/Move your uploads in a collectors free account:
Benefits for users:
+ No 10 times download limitation
+ Files get deleted after a longer period of time
Benefits for you:
+ Have your files in one place => easy to maintain
+ Collect rapid points which you could turn into premium account
