Advice about what to do with $1000?

Hello all:
I have a $1000 dollars and little bit more and I want an advice about how I can use it or invest it.

Please help me with ideas??

subtract your age from 100

eg- my age is 30, (100-30= 70)

30= (secure/ low risk investing )- /bonds/corperates
70= (devide this in to 5 parts, there has to be ,low/high/ risk elements) bank deposit/gold/good mutual funds/stocks / realestate/) so on its big subject,

dont let ur money in one way , dont go for stock investing if u are a beginer,

invest little in good mutual fund,not in a one time,through sip (systamatic invest plan)( 5year track record of the fund manager must be monitered before invest in it )

invest systamatically in gold (safe haven) & (widly used for hedging)

so on , the money u earned should earn for u (work for u) if u invest in good things,

best place as a begineer is put it in the bank for fixed term deposit, until you have tried and tested any advice to make extra cash. otherwise you risk losing it.

u can invest a little in gold ( min 1-gram ) every month systamatically for 3-5 yrs ,(like-RD-Requiring Deposit)

u dont need to analyse gold trends,keep on buying every month ,

gold itself safe, systamatic invest for 5 yrs is safest

it give a profit twice that of bank deposit.
